Retiring the Flag

Posted on Jun 10 2024 - 8:55pm

At the End of Year Picnic we will be retiring the flag for Christ Church.  Below is a letter from Christ Church.

Dear Celeste,

Camp Sequassen additional weeks

Posted on Mar 15 2024 - 3:46pm

Many Scouts have shown an interest in attending a second week at camp.

Scouts can attend as many weeks as they would like outside of our troops week but are required to sign up as "Provisional" Scouts. They will be assigned to camp with another troop that is attending that week. Parents are required to sign their Scout up directly with Camp Sequassen.

If we have multiple Scouts attending the same second week we can request that they all be assigned to the same Troop.

If you are planning on attending a second week please fill out this form so you can coordinate your choice of 2nd week with other Scouts in our Troop.

You can return to this form at any time to see how others have responded.

NEW Troop 66 Class B Shirt Order form and additional Troop clothing options

Posted on Feb 15 2024 - 9:19am

Great news!  To celebrate our 100th Troop Anniversary, we have a new troop logo and new troop color!  Special shout out to Sean Connolly and his artwork which celebrates so many of the traditions of Troop 66.  The troop voted, and have chosen GREEN as our new color, which pulls colors from the Easton town seal.

We would like to have every Scout order a Short Sleeve Men's Cut SPF-50 wicking shirt to become our new "Class B" shirt for activities for $22.  This shirt is meant for sports and active wear, with the added benefit of protecting our scouts from the sun during outdoors and water activities.  Parents who are working at the gourmet breakfast may also want to wear a Class B shirt as well.

In addition, to the official "Class B shirt", we are going to offer an opportunity for all our Scout Families to purchase troop swag to be used at troop activities.  These will include:
-Mens SPF-50 Wicking Short and Long Sleeve Shirts in GREEN
-Women's Wicking Short and Long Sleeve Shirts in GREEN. (Note: these are not SPF-50, but likely offer typical sun protection)
-Unisex Zip Sweatshirts in Grey with the
-Unisex Hoodie Sweatshirts in Grey

We will also offer grey embroidered fleeces with ONLY the left chest embroidered in green with the Troop 66 Logo and the BSA fleur de lis (will need a minimum of 10 to run)
-Mens vest
-Women's Vest
-Unisex 1/4 Zip

In the hopes of having these shirts available in time for the gourmet breakfast, please return your order form and check made out to troop 66 by the February 28th meeting.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Beth Natt (bethcnatt@gmail.com)
